The Competition to win YOUR CHOICE of a mountain bike OR scooter OR skateboard is now closed, and the winners have been drawn from all the correct answers.

Second Prize goes to Demi Lee Thompson, also from Whinneybanks Primary!

Well done to all 41 pupils who got the right answer, and to the 5 who spotted that there was a second possible answer that required a bit more thought – those five will receive a signed photo of us and Landy as a special prize.

Answers:

1. The sack was being used to collect droppings from the horse.

2. The droppings could be used as manure on crops or gardens.

3. The sack also prevented the dropping from soiling the streets.
